DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
The payment of a deposit at any part or full payment for a reservation on this tour/rental shall constitute consent to all the provisions herein. The balance of monies owing to GoTour is required 60 days before the tour and 30 days before the rental commences.
INSURANCE AND BOND
Insurance
GoTour Tours/Rentals are covered by full comprehensive motorcycle insurance. This is included in the daily hire charge/tour price.
A standard excess payment of NZD $4,000.00 applies in the event of any damage to either GoTour’s or any Authorized Harley-Davidson® Dealers rented motorcycles and/or any other third party property.
Personal Travel Insurance: Whilst In New Zealand,The Accident Compensation Commission covers any personal injury. However GoTour highly recommends that all clients have personal travel medical insurance to cover any unexpected medical event.
Bond
A bond of NZD $4,000 is required on collection of your motorcycle and is payable in cash, MasterCard, Visa or direct funds transfer.The bond is fully refundable if the conditions of the motorcycle return have been satisfied; the motorcycle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed date; the motorcycle is returned in a reasonably clean and tidy condition and the motorcycle has not been damaged or involved in an accident.
Accidents
If the motorcycle is involved in any accident or if any damage is caused to the motorcycle GoTour must be notified within 24 hours, or as soon as practicable in order to give GoTour the opportunity to help rectify the problem during this rental period. Failure to do so will negate the return of any bond payments.
Mechanical failure
In the event of mechanical failure GoTour will endeavour to repair or replace the motorcycle within 24 hours of initial notification, this may not always be possible and will be at the discretion of GOTOUR. Provision is subject to availability, client location, accident liability and remaining hire duration.
WAIVER and RELEASE
The undersigned understands these requirements and conditions and is aware that the tour/rental and its activities could involve the risk of personal injury and damage or loss of property. In consideration of the benefits to be derived from participation in the tour/Rental, the undersigned voluntarily accepts all risks of personal injury and property damage arising from participation in the tour/rental.
The undersigned hereby agrees that he/she and his/her dependents, heirs, executors and assigns, do release and hold blameless GoTour and the contractors, directors, and representatives of GoTour from any and all claims of illness, bodily injury, death or property damage or loss, however caused, arising from or
related to this tour/rental.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND EARLY/LATE RETURN CONDITIONS
Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellation received in writing at least forty-five (45) days prior to the tour/rental start date are fully refundable less an administration fee of NZD$750.00 per person. Cancellation within forty-five (45) days of the tour/rental start date will mean that all payments are forfeited.
GoTourreserves the right to cancel any tour/rental prior to departure, in which payment will be refunded in full without further obligation on the part of GoTour.
Early returns
There will be no refunds for early returns of motorcycles.
Late return fee
Failure to return the motorcycle at the agreed time will result in a late fee equivalent to the daily rental rate per day plus additional charges of NZD $150 per day.
ACCIDENTS, DAMAGE AND BREAKDOWNS
Mechanical repairs:
Puncture and tyre damage are the responsibility of the Hirer.
The undersigned will be liable for any cost associated with the incorrect use of fuel or contamination of the fuel tank.
All repairs must be authorized by GOTOUR management before any repair work is undertaken.
The undersigned understands that he/she will abide by the conditions set by GoTour as described in the Booking Terms and, Conditions of this tour/rental stated herein.
